2.03 SHOOTING
(q) CARROT AND STICK SHOOTING
Game for distance shooting with a large number of people around the korf, with the objective to avoid going under the korf to rebound and assist
Four to seven people per korf with a ball. One player stands under the korf, the rest are in a semi-circle at a distance of seven metres.
The players shoot in turns. If the shooter fails so badly that (s)he does not even touch the korf, then (s)he must go under the korf. If a shooter scores, the person next to him/her goes under the korf. An enjoyable game that takes a stick to bad shooting but offers a carrot for good shooting.
As a shooting exercise before a game, this is a good exercise involving the whole team. Use two balls and two rebound players.
